The Forest Around US

Join Julian Maza, Service Forester with PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Forestry, Pinchot Forest District on a Saturday exploration of our State Forest.

Julian will lead a discussion of current forest management projects in the forest around us, including timber harvesting and managing invasive plants.

Forest district staff promotes wild plant conservation and private forest land conservation and stewardship. They also provide for the protection, administration, and management of state forest lands within the district.

Dress for the weather and a moderate level hike on groomed trails.
