Key Partners

North Pocono CARE recognizes the important work our Partners are doing to preserve our precious resources, including the ecosystems and native species of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Together we are building on each other’s successes.

Western Pocono Trout Unlimited – One of 49 Pennsylvania-based chapters of Trout Unlimited, the Western Pocono rivers are served by this chapter and bring people together to care for our rivers and help make our water cleaner and our communities healthier.  Over the years, North Pocono CARE has joined in their Annual Trout Festival.

The Nature Conservancy – For decades, TNC has worked within Pennsylvania to protect the rivers, forests, farms, and iconic nature in the Commonwealth.

The Wilderz at Pocono Wildlife aspires to educate and guide the public towards a symbiotic relationship with wildlife. Founded in 1983, the center has grown to now intake over 3,000 animals every year.  Each year, North Pocono CARE hosts the center for one of the year’s most popular family events. Join us next time to meet some of the rescued animals who now serve as ‘ambassadors’ of their work.
