The Beauty of our Forest: The Barton Property

Experience the essence of an exceptional value watershed environment.  Join Matt Schultz, Stewardship Manager for Pocono Heritage Land Trust, and the Barton family for a tour of the Barton Brothers Property in Clifton Township.  We’ll tour spring fed ponds and bubbling sand springs within the forested land.

Pocono Heritage Land Trust has held a conservation easement not the 700+ acre Barton property since the 1980s.The family had the fore site to protect this ecologically diverse landscape.

We’ll meet up at the property entrance on Sandy Beach Road in Clifton, PA where there is room for parking. NOTE: Street address is approximate, entrance is about 1.8 miles from intersection with Clifton Beach Road. Use Google coordinates below.
