DESCRIPTION:PennFuture invites the community to join them for a fund raising reception to support their Legal Environmental Advocacy Fund. The evening reception costs $50 per ticket and will include local food and beverages. \nPenn Future Attorney\, Brigitte Meyer\, has been an integral part of the effort to make sure the data center proposals in Covington and Clifton townships are challenged.  She has been guiding us through the maze of legalities and keeps us focused on the important issues at hand. \nCome meet Bridgette and the stellar legal team at PennFuture. Data centers can be energy- and water-sucking vampires\, slipping into neighborhoods under existing siting policies intended to regulate very different industries like manufacturing or warehouses. \nIn the next episode of the Clean Energy for All series\, we tell the spooky story of how we got here\, separate facts from fears\, and consider how local governments and community members can utilize existing policies to combat current proposals while preparing smart policies in advance of new threats.
