Julian Maza, Service Forester, PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Forestry, Pinchot Forest District will lead a walk and discussion of current forest management projects and provide an opportunity to ask questions about changes in our forest. Meet at the parking area for Choke Creek Falls off Philips Road.
Join the Western Pocono Chapter of Trout Unlimited and other organizations and individuals in celebrating the Lehigh River with informational displays, fishing demonstrations, activities and food. NP CARE will have an informational table there. Please note date is TBD!
Come to collect and identify the bugs that fish eat in the Lehigh River. Bring wading shoes and a towel. Wonderful hands-on program for kids and families!
Join Matt Schultz, Stewardship Manager, Pocono Heritage Land Trust, and the Barton family for a tour of the 737 acre Barton Brothers Property in Clifton Township. Learn how vernal pools, wetlands and the forested lands create a unique environment. Meet up spot to be announced in mid-July, 2026. Hope to see you there!
Susan Downing of Wilderz at Pocono Wildlife will bring raptors, small mammals, and reptiles for you to see up close and will talk about their Amazing Animal Adaptations. This popular program is great for kids and families.
